Not only does every single staff member go through personalized training, but we also put on team trainings to help them continuously develop their real estate skillsets.
In fact, we recently held our annual retreat at the Ke Iki Beach Bungalows in Oahu. With beautiful ocean and sunset views, it ended up being a great place to relax and enjoy spending time as a team.
The retreat also gave our team the opportunity to learn about the latest real estate technologies, set goals for the upcoming year, and brainstorm new and creative ways to go above and beyond for both our clients, as well as the community.

The Ihara team is growing and continuously looking for additional talent to join on one of the 50 Fastest Growing companies in Hawaii. I am reaching out to you in the event you may know someone that has just as much passion for real estate as we do. As you may or may not know, we own a team within an independent KW office in Honolulu, and we presently have five openings on our team. The first position listed is a Marketing Manager. This could be a great fit for someone who thrives both creatively and analytically in a fast-paced, high-intensity sales organization.They would have an opportunity to drive marketing efforts in 5 or more of our growing businesses as well as our Non-Profit Organization. Through leverage, resourcefulness and teamwork this person will thrive and grow to their potential The second position is for Buyer's Agents. This would be great for someone who is able to devote themselves to a job doing the fun part! Checking out and showing great homes to buyers ready to buy! This person will have an opportunity to learn how to convert leads to clients, advocate for our referred clients, utilize our systems, models and tools and earn 6 digits their first year.
The third position is for Listing Managers. We’re looking for someone that is organized, detailed, ambitious, confident, goal-driven, has shown tons of initiative and is results-oriented. A love for problem-solving and "thinking outside of the box" is a must! This person will work directly with clients and vendors as a project manager to get our listings looking as best as possible. Once it looks amazing they will professionally market the home around the globe and attract multiple offers with our proprietary system.
The fourth position is for Listing Specialists. Specifically, we’re looking for a talented, experienced sales professional with proven closing skills. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience closing transactions and a desire to strategically advocate for our sellers.
Finally, the last position we’re looking to hire is that of a Chief Negotiator. This position ensures our Sellers have an amazing customer service experience from the start of the offer process to the closing of their transaction. They will need to be an experienced Realtor who has has proven strategic thinking and excellent people skills. Here is a brief description of the jobs and who would be a good candidate: Marketing Manager:
To be right for this job, the candidate should be passionate about achievement and enthusiastic about playing a supporting role on a team. Qualifications would include:
• Experience with Web Analytics • Proven track record of executing successful marketing programs, with effective understanding of how sales and marketing work together • Familiarity with real estate specific software & database systems plus marketing and lead technology systems. • Familiarity with listing & sales files and marketing (Brochures, open house flyers, online marketing, posting on websites, etc.)
Compensation: Negotiable Buyers Agents:
This position would have a flexible schedule and would include some weekend and evening hours. Qualifications would include:
• Possessing the ability to connect with a variety of personalities. • Enthusiastic with excellent people skills. • Independent and self-motivated. • Be a team player who thrives working with a tight knit company where their activities directly affect the bottom line.
Compensation: Minimum $100K Listings Manager
This position would be responsible for providing fiduciary service to all sellers from the time their home goes on the market up until it goes into contract. Qualifications include:
• Highly detail-oriented and customer-service oriented.
• Proficiency in working with email, MS Office and project management software.
• Social media experience. • Real Estate License a plus (but not a requirement). • “Can-do” attitude.
Compensation: Base + Commission Listing Specialist
This position would be responsible for providing fiduciary service to all sellers from the time their home goes on the market up until it goes into contract. Qualifications include:
• Willingness to learn new tools, systems, and technologies
• Ability to exercise active listening and active questioning skills to build rapport and uncover client needs. • Team player: you're resourceful, decisive and hold yourself accountable for the customer experience. You’re persistent and resilient when working through challenging situations • Ethical: you live by our values already, and always do the right thing
• Local knowledge: you know your community like the back of your hand

Chief Negotiator
The primary job of our Chief Negotiator is to ensure offers to purchase are negotiated, accepted and executed to protect and promote the interests of our Buyers and Sellers. Qualifications include:
• Two or more years of experience • Strong negotiating skills • Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously • Ability to problem solve and provide solution alternatives • Ability to comprehend contracts and agreements, as well as title documentation
