Our Story

My name is Dan Ihara and I'm the CEO and founder of The Ihara Team at Keller Williams Honolulu. My wife and I work together and we have a 22 person team designed to be The Complete Solution for Sellers. As the Listing Specialist and Team Strategist my role is to identify a specific marketing plan to find the right buyer who is willing to pay the most for our listing within the time frame our client desires.

We have Listing Managers who coordinate all vendors, estimates and manage the completion of Pre-marketing improvements as well as manage the staging, professional photos, videos and virtual walk-throughs and then launch the global marketing for our listings to over 350 websites. We also have a Chief Negotiator who is skillfully trained and with 100's of transactions of experience that works to obtain the highest price and best terms for our clients. Our highly trained and specialized team has closed over 700 transactions and will close over 120 this year. We are the Client Advocate and have built systems to provide the highest level of service to our clients.

Over 7 years ago we created another specialized company called Senior Move Managers and De-clutter Hawaii where we specialize on helping Sellers clear out their homes prior to the sale of their home. We have helped over 500 families since inception and have received the coveted Circle of Service Award from the National Association of Senior Move Managers for our dedication to this market. We are the only Real Estate team in Hawaii that owns and operates our own Declutter company which is why many people use us to sell their home.

To enhance the appearance of our listings we developed our own Staging Company called Stage Hawaii. Our professional interior decorators make a house feel like a home with their keen attention to detail. This stage of the pre-listing plan is really what separates our team from the rest. Once you look at our listings versus what's on the market you'll understand the difference.

We also own HI Property Management where we manage over 100 properties on a high level. Our unique portal system allows owners to have 24/7 access to information that they want, when they want it. We conduct on-site inspections and condition reports for our clients on the 10th month of a 12 month rental agreement. All photos, videos and reports are accessible at our owners desire.

We are at heart, Educators, whose desire is to share best practices found around the country. We are the leading team providing Free Seminars to the public with our Senior Living Options Seminars, Buy and Flip as well as 1031 Exchange seminars. Many of our Advocates use us to share helpful tips and information to their clients. I've spoken at over 800 venues in Hawaii and around the country in hopes to help them reach their goals through Real Estate. We've been blessed to share at American Savings Bank, Territorial Bank, Finance Factors, Bank of Hawaii, First Hawaiian Bank, Ameriprise, Morgan Stanley, UBS as well as other Elder Law attorneys.
